Regulated Industries: A surcharge is added to all “Regulated” businesses that may require specific rules, guidelines, or laws restricting them from advertising on certain media platforms, websites, streaming services, or device apps. Each media publisher/service has set policies regarding sensitive content or industries and may restrict/block any content, ad, or business they choose from advertising on their platform. Publishers may also limit content to viewers/listeners over the age of 18 (or 21). RAI Media cannot guarantee deliverability to any specific website, service, or app for this reason. Additional attention is required to manage “Regulated” campaigns due to higher costs associated with limited media networks and services willing to accept sensitive/regulated content.
