Why Is It Called "Black Friday"?

Every year leading into the Thanksgiving holiday season, all we see and hear on TV, radio, and digital are ads calling out Black Friday sales.

For small business owners, and some large businesses as well, "Black Friday" primarily refers to the day after Thanksgiving, when retail stores "get out of the red and into the black" at the beginning of the holiday sales season.

You need to ensure that your business is getting its fair share of holiday sales, as consumer holiday budgets are limited. Utilizing both traditional and digital marketing opportunities gets your store in the game and not forgotten versus the big-boy stores.
